Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to analyze business requests, determine the right learning solutions, and translate requirements into measurable objectives. You will craft engaging learning journeys, using storytelling and scenarios to boost adoption and performance across teams.

In this role, you will leverage AI tools for faster content development, collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders, and continuously improve solutions based on data and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requests to identify root causes, performance gaps, learner needs, and desired business outcomes.
• Consult with stakeholders and SMEs to determine whether learning is the appropriate solution and recommend the most effective intervention.
• Translate business requirements into measurable learning objectives and success metrics.
• Conceptualize and visualize engaging learning experiences that enhance learner adoption, retention, and performance.
• Design innovative learning journeys using storytelling, scenarios, simulations, microlearning, performance support, and experiential learning techniques.
• Select the most appropriate learning modality based on audience needs, complexity, risk, and business impact.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate content development and increase design efficiency.
• Apply prompting techniques and human judgment to ensure learning solutions are accurate, relevant, and learner-focused.
• Continuously explore emerging technologies to improve learner experiences and development practices.
• Develop instructional materials including learning blueprints, storyboards, scripts, participant guides, job aids, assessments, presentations, and digital learning assets.
• Collaborate with multimedia developers and stakeholders to create high-quality learning experiences.
• Design assessments and evaluation mechanisms to measure learning effectiveness.
• Utilize learner feedback and data insights to continuously improve learning solutions.
• Recommend enhancements based on performance outcomes and learner behavior.
• Partner with SMEs, business leaders, and project teams to ensure alignment between learning initiatives and organizational goals.
• Effectively communicate design recommendations and learning strategies to stakeholders.
• Stay current on learning science, instructional design trends, AI advancements, and emerging learning technologies.
• Continuously develop skills in learning experience design, performance consulting, creativity, and innovation.
