Job summary

General Assembly is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to craft enterprise and technical learning programs. You will lead design, development, and delivery of instructor-led experiences, incorporating AI tools and emerging technologies to improve real-world skills and outcomes.

You will collaborate with SMEs, instructors, product teams, and clients to translate complex topics into actionable learning journeys, labs, and assessments, ensuring accessibility and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or related field.
• Proven ability to design enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace learning.
• Hands-on experience creating slides, labs, simulations, and assessments.
• Experience coordinating with clients, SMEs, instructors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop practical, instructor-led learning experiences for enterprise and technical audiences.
• Create instructor materials: slides, labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, and workbooks.
• Manage projects, timelines, resources, and QA for program development.
• Onboard and coordinate resources: SMEs, instructional designers, vendors, and clients.
