Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Solution Engineer based in Mexico City, Mexico, to tackle complex customer problems and close large deals. You will partner with sales and channel partners to understand needs, strategize sales cycles, deliver value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and drive customer expansion in Snowflake.

You must blend business and technical acumen, engaging executives and technical audiences alike, while traveling as required to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with large-scale database or data warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
• Ability to translate customer business problems into Snowflake use cases.
• University degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or related field; equivalent experience preferred.
• Travel required.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at customers and prospects.
• Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate value; identify use cases and guide from demo to implementation to go-live.
• Present customers with Snowflake innovations and the value they add to their business.
• Stay immersed in the industry, understanding competitive technologies and how to position Snowflake.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
