Job summary

Scale Microgrids in New York City is seeking a Software Product Manager to build and improve internal software used by teams designing, deploying, and managing microgrids and data center energy solutions. You will drive AI adoption and cybersecurity initiatives while working in a lean, cross-functional team.

You’ll report to the Staff Product Manager and operate on a hybrid schedule from our NYC office near Union Square, collaborating across product areas and engineering to ship meaningful

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in a B2B environment with end-to-end ownership of a product.
• AI fluency and comfort using AI tools in product work.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with limited data.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate between technical and business contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead products from discovery through launch; define scope, prioritize, and ship with engineering and design.
• Develop deep understanding of internal customers and user needs through direct engagement.
• Maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap across concurrent workstreams; focus on high-value problems.
• Make day-to-day decisions grounded in user research, business context, and ROI; measure outcomes.
