Job summary

Scale is seeking a Software Product Manager to build and improve internal software used by teams designing, deploying, and managing microgrids and data center energy solutions. The role includes driving Scale's internal AI adoption and steering cybersecurity initiatives, reporting to the Staff Product Manager, and working in a hybrid setup from the New York City office near Union Square.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in an early or growth-stage B2B environment with end-to-end ownership of a product.
• AI fluency and ability to drive AI adoption across teams and products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead products from discovery through launch; define problems, scope features, prioritize, and ship with engineering and design.
• Understand internal customers and users; continuously refine through direct engagement and research.
• Maintain a prioritized roadmap and manage multiple workstreams to focus on high-value problems.
• Make product decisions based on user data, business context, technical feasibility, and ROI; track outcomes.
• Drive software strategy; translate discovery insights into direction for the team.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across product areas; run touchpoints and communicate progress and tradeoffs.
• Promote internal AI adoption and provide support for AI tools and workflows across Scale.
• Coordinate ISO certification efforts with external consultants and IT/Engineering on cybersecurity priorities.
• Coordinate releases; provide demos and training to users and contribute to PM standards.
