Job summary

Fingerprint is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Security to own the AppSec program and lead a small team focused on security, IT, and compliance. You will drive risk-informed decisions, engage with enterprise customers, and shape a scalable security roadmap.

You will partner with engineering to embed secure-by-default practices, build AI-assisted triage, and oversee vendor risk and zero-trust concepts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security with substantial hands-on AppSec experience and threat modeling.
• Able to read code and discuss modern web/API architectures with engineers.
• 2+ years managing people; lead practitioners with domain expertise.
• Daily use of AI in security tasks and understanding AI-driven tooling impact.
• Rapidly grasp new domains and translate tech to business language.
• Experience answering enterprise security questionnaires and communicating risk.

Responsibilities

• Own and build the AppSec program, define roadmap, and implement vulnerability management.
• Lead the IT Engineer and Compliance Lead, providing direction and prioritization.
• Represent security posture to customers and leadership, manage security questionnaires.
