Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Security to shape the direction of our security tooling and AppSec practices. You will lead high-impact work spanning offense and defense, hardening product design, and building AI-enabled tooling for engineers to move fast safely.

You’ll report to the Staff Software Engineer - Security, collaborate with product engineers, DevOps, and Fraud, and mentor peers while expanding security across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security (AppSec, DevSecOps or similar).
• Professional offensive security experience and vulnerability chaining.
• Experience leading security initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Experience in threat modeling and secure design across projects.
• Experience embedding security in CI/CD and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical direction of security tooling and AppSec practices.
• Lead secure design across major projects from threat modeling to architecture.
• Design DevSecOps architecture and embed security across SDLC.
• Build and extend in-house security tooling and AI-powered tooling.
• Mentor engineers and raise security standards across engineering.
