Job summary

Skillsoft is seeking a Director, Renewals Operations to lead and operate an integrated commercial function unifying pricing, deal desk, contracts, and related capabilities for a ~$250M Enterprise ARR base.

You will co-design the future-state of the function, drive end-to-end redesign, and own performance KPIs with AI-enabled processes. Build a high-impact team, collaborating with Sales, Legal, and Finance at the executive level.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading a SaaS/PaaS integrated commercial operations org with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years leading teams owning deal desk, pricing, or discount governance at scale.
• Experience designing pricing and discount governance and commercial policy.
• AI/automation-forward process redesign expertise.
• Strong analytical command of deal, discount, and margin economics.
• Executive presence with cross-functional authority across Sales, Legal, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the future operator of an integrated commercial function governing price and discount for a ~$250M Enterprise ARR base.
• Co-manage future-state design of the function and end-to-end process redesign.
• Integrate today’s pricing, deal desk, contracts, and RFP resources into one function.
• Redesign commercial processes for speed and productivity with AI as a radical enabler.
• Define enabling systems requirements across CPQ, approvals, and CLM.
• Drive ARR and productivity improvement by owning policy, approval frameworks, and exceptions.
• Lead with an AI-first mindset using data, automation, and tools to monitor KPIs.
• Build and lead the function’s team and partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance at the exec level.
