Job summary

Skillsoft is building an integrated commercial function overseeing pricing, deal desk, contracts, and related capabilities. As Director, Renewals Operations, you will co-lead the future-state design and operate it as the leader, shaping the function and implementing end-to-end improvements across the organization.

This role requires 12+ years in SaaS commercial ops, leadership of deal desk and pricing at scale, plus AI-driven process redesign.

Qualifications

• Over 12+ years leading a SaaS/PaaS integrated commercial operations org or equivalent.
• 6+ years leading teams owning deal desks, pricing, or discount governance at scale.
• Experience managing pricing governance and discount policy design.
• Process redesign experience with AI/automation-forward approach.
• Strong analytics on deal, discount, and margin economics.
• Executive presence with cross-functional authority across Sales, Legal, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Operate an integrated commercial function unifying pricing, deal desk, contracts, and related capabilities.
• Co-design future-state of the function and end-to-end process redesign.
• Integrate current pricing, deal desk, contracts, and RFP resources into one function.
• Redesign processes for speed and productivity with AI enablement.
• Define system requirements across CPQ, approvals, and contract lifecycle.
• Drive ARR growth and productivity by owning policy, approval frameworks, and exceptions.
• Lead the function and build its team; partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance at executive level.
