Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an AI-forward operator to lead People Operations, blending data, automation, and human-centered design to empower the employee experience. You’ll own service delivery design, partner with IT, Payroll, HR M&A, and HR Business Partners to modernize how we work in an AI-enabled world.

This role requires 7+ years in People Operations, embedding AI at scale, strong program management, and hands-on Workday/Jira experience.

Qualifications

7+ years in People Operations or related field.
Experience using AI and automation to redesign operational workflows at scale.
Strong program management fundamentals.
Experience with Workday, Jira, or similar platforms.
Data-driven, systems level thinker who connects metrics to outcomes.
Excellent communication, judgment, and discretion with sensitive information.
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

Lead with foresight: use Jira, Workday, ticketing trends, service-level data, signals, and capacity data to anticipate needed improvements.
Build and scale AI-powered service delivery and optimize knowledge management and case management.
Act as a strategic advisor across the People function and partner with Centers of Excellence.
Translate complex needs into process maps, requirements, metrics, procedures, and launch plans.
Lead and develop a team, using data and AI in daily decision making.
Drive measurable outcomes by tying investments to efficiency, cost, risk reduction, and employee experience.
