Mews is seeking a PayOps Analyst to act as the operational heartbeat of our Payment Operations. You will monitor payment flows, manage incidents end to end, and provide insights to ensure merchants are paid accurately and on time.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and improve incident handling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in payments, operations, or fintech.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data.
• Clear, effective communication across teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor payout timeliness, authorisation success rates, and SLA breaches.
• Log and manage incidents in the Jira Service Portal with clear ownership.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring failures and feed insights back to PayOps.
