Job summary

Yahoo! is seeking a Manager of Business Operations to support our DSP team.

This role blends strategy, analytics, and cross‑functional execution to eliminate friction, unlock revenue opportunities, and modernize operations through process excellence, workflow design, and practical uses of AI. You will design scalable processes, create SOPs and playbooks, centralize knowledge, and partner with Finance, Analytics, Strategy, Sales, and Product to translate insights into action.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, strategy & operations, program management, or a chief-of-staff function.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn operational data into clear business insights.
• Comfort working across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and solving problems without a clearly defined playbook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Track key goals, priorities, and initiatives for aligned business partners.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, playbooks, decision trees, and other operational documentation.
• Centralize knowledge so teams can execute consistently and reduce reliance on tribal knowledge.
• Improve operating clarity by documenting handoffs, ownership, escalation paths, and workflow standards.
• Partner with internal and external teams to build automation for mundane and repetitive tasks related to the teams you support.
• Collaborate with Analytics to align reporting metrics across tools and systems.
• Develop analytics framework to answer business questions and prepare materials for reviews.
• Identify trends and opportunities and translate them into actionable insights.
• Design & execute scalable operational solutions based on insights.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to refine processes and quantify value.
• Evaluate and improve tools to manage the business.
• Support annual and quarterly business planning.
• Coordinate operating reviews and leadership meetings.
• Support high-priority strategic initiatives sponsored by senior leaders.
