Job summary

Alpha reimagines reading instruction with AI-adaptive apps, delivering 20-minute small-group sessions for K-3 students. You will lead motivation sessions to reach weekly app targets, and use real-time analytics to adjust instruction throughout the day.

The role centers on measurable reading progress, running records, and phonemic development, with campus-level data reviews. This is a hands-on classroom position requiring daily on-site work.

Qualifications

• Masters or certification in structured literacy OR equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years K-3 structured reading instruction in the past 5 years.
• Ability to design original reading lessons and explain instructional approach without a published program.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to work in-person at Alpha campuses.

Responsibilities

• Create small-group K-3 reading sessions using real-time adaptive-app data, rooted in structured-literacy approaches.
• Facilitate daily motivation sessions driving 100% of students toward weekly app targets.
• Analyze AI-generated performance metrics to modify instruction during the day.
• Conduct running records, fluency assessments, and decoding evaluations to show progress in weekly campus data reviews.
• Be an approachable, dynamic adult for students.
