Job summary

University of Phoenix is seeking a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) to own detailed learning design, development, production, and quality for assigned workstreams. You will translate diagnosed needs into production-ready experiences across instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and blended formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in adult education, instructional design, or related field with four+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and blended learning assets.
• Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint and at least one e-learning tool (Articulate Storyline or Rise).
• Ability to review materials for accuracy, accessibility, and usability from day one.

Responsibilities

• Translate diagnosed needs into detailed learning designs for instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and blended experiences.
• Exercise independent instructional judgment and surface design tradeoffs.
• Develop facilitator guides, job aids, storyboards, modules, assessments, and multimedia assets.
• Apply AI-enabled workflows while maintaining professional review and quality checks.
• Deliver final production files in Word, PowerPoint, Articulate, Sana or successor platforms.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders and manage multiple production priorities.
