Job summary

Buildkite is seeking an IT Engineer who treats IT as an engineering problem, building automation, integrations, and internal tooling with AI. You’ll rollout Serval and own first-line support for the Americas, with a focus on scalable automation and careful governance.

You’ll report to the IT Engineering Manager and collaborate with Engineering, Security, and People Ops to extend solid foundations and drive impactful projects from day one.

Qualifications

• SaaS platform administration experience with identity providers.
• MDM experience and device management skills.
• Strong scripting and automation mindset, with experience building things, not patching.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT operations and global support.
• Automate onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning workflows.
• Build and maintain IaC for SaaS configurations.
• Design API and webhook integrations across internal tooling.
• Mature device trust and endpoint management tooling.
• Collaborate with Security, Platform Eng, and People Ops on cross-team projects.
