Serval is an AI-native automation platform that builds agents to automate enterprise workflows. The Automation Engineer role sits in IT and internal ops, building automations and AI agents to handle high-volume service work while keeping humans in the loop where judgment matters.

You'll shadow the help desk, map frequent requests, and ship end-to-end solutions for onboarding, access provisioning, and security-related workflows. The position emphasizes ownership and delivering measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automation engineering or IT operations with a CS-related degree.
• Experience with identity management (Okta, SAML, SCIM).
• Ability to design scalable automation for onboarding, access, and provisioning.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Shadow help desk and map recurring requests to automation.
• Build workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
• Automate ticket triage, routing, and escalation.
• Maintain an internal knowledge base and track impact.
• Own day-to-day automation operations.
