Job summary

Fundbox is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain engaging training content for our Customer Facing (CX) organization. You will collaborate with CX Leadership and the CX Trainer to evolve the curriculum, embedding AI-driven workflows and maintaining accuracy and accessibility across programs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on LMS experience, Storyline 360, and the Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong writing background and a passion for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in instructional design with outcomes in digital media production, instructional materials, course design, curriculum design, or eLearning.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Deep knowledge of instructional design standards and learning principles
• Excellent writing skills and a creative approach to design
• Strong attention to detail, including editing and proofreading
• Hands-on experience using generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to draft scripts and prototypes
• Comfort adapting workflows as AI evolves with a mindset of continuous experimentation
• Ability to match learning methodologies to training needs
• Basic understanding of learning analytics/metrics
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt style and direction based on feedback
• Self-starter who owns end-to-end deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to reprioritize based on business needs and manage multiple projects
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Define learning objectives based on requirements using instructional design expertise
• Develop new learning curriculum and courseware using blended learning solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and build training solutions
• Support a variety of L&D programs including onboarding and ad-hoc materials
• Maintain the Learning Management System and content system
• Evaluate curricula and stay current on best teaching practices
• Attend and/or observe training sessions to reinforce adoption of best practices
• Build product/process knowledge by reviewing PRDs, designs, and UX flows
• Use generative AI tools during the design process while ensuring quality and alignment
• Evaluate new AI/learning tools and recommend those that improve content
• Ensure content is accessible and inclusive per WCAG/508
• Stay current on emerging trends in learning solutions
• Maintain core assets to keep them up to date
