Job summary

Motive is seeking a seasoned Strategy & Operations leader in San Francisco to shape go-to-market strategy, align cross-functional teams, and drive scalable growth. You will build analytical models and dashboards, leverage AI to improve efficiency, and partner with C-suite leaders to optimize commercial outcomes.

The role requires 6+ years in consulting/banking/private equity or SaaS strategy, with strong communication, leadership, and data skills. MBA a plus; on-site SF office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in consulting, banking, private equity, or Strategy & Operations with in-house SaaS experience.
• Experience at a hypergrowth and rapidly scaling SaaS company.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
• Advanced communication, presentation, and organization skills.
• Executive presence and comfort communicating with the C-suite.
• Exceptional spreadsheet/data management skills; SQL proficiency preferred.
• Expert with Google Sheets & Excel, with data-modeling ability.
• Proficient in AI tools and leveraging AI to maximize daily effectiveness.
• Intellectual curiosity with strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop go-to-market strategies by analyzing market trends, segmentation, and competitive landscape; align with senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to connect departments and drive scalable execution.
• Create analytical models and dashboards to provide actionable go-to-market and product insights using AI.
• Champion operational efficiency by identifying and solving process inefficiencies and improving workflows.
