Job summary

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager in Los Angeles who will oversee day-to-day property operations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to JLL's standards. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of facilities management experience with third-party, corporate facilities, or consulting experience.
• At least 1 year of people management or supervisory experience in FM.
• Experience using CMMS; ability to adopt AI-powered facility management tools.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles as they apply to commercial property management.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical property inspections; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily facility operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, landscaping, building management systems).
• Manage the full work order lifecycle using AI-powered CMMS; optimize resources and response times.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams; communicate effectively.
• Support annual operating budget development and monthly variance reporting; ensure accurate vendor invoicing and payment.
• Conduct property tours and inspections; solicit proposals from contractors; oversee maintenance per policies.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs; implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Support facility soft services (meetings, conference rooms, food services, parking, vending, badging) and customer service.
