Job summary

JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager in Indianapolis to lead daily facility operations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure service standards are met. The role emphasizes AI-enabled building management and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of facility management experience, CMMS proficiency, and strong communication skills. This on-site position offers growth within a global real estate services company and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years managing commercial facilities.
1+ year of people management in facilities.
Experience with CMMS and AI-powered facility tools.
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles for property management.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform inspections.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety.
Manage the CMMS work order lifecycle from creation to reporting using AI tools.
Build relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Support annual operating budgets and monthly variance reporting.
Conduct property tours, request proposals, and oversee maintenance.
Monitor KPIs and SLAs, implement corrective actions.
Support soft services like meeting prep, room reservations, and catering.
