Job summary

Juul Labs is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Enterprise Systems to modernize core business systems. You will own configuration-as-code across ERP, HRIS, CRM, ITSM, and QA platforms with a focus on CI/CD, AI-assisted changes, and secure, auditable deployments.

You will partner with Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Sales to translate requirements into automated, auditable system changes, while upholding SOX/ITGC controls and data integrity.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with enterprise systems, data flows, and cross-system dependencies.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and using Git for deployments.
• Interest in using AI coding agents for production work.
• Proficiency in SQL and automated test scripts for large datasets.
• Experience with API/integration technologies (REST, SOAP, EDI).
• Knowledge of SOX/ITGC frameworks and compliance considerations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build Configuration-as-Code for ERP, HRIS, CRM, ITSM, and QA systems.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows for configuration changes.
• Implement HITL review steps for AI-generated changes before production.
• Evaluate AI coding agents to accelerate configuration work and integration builds.
• Create reusable test scripts and regression suites for core systems.
• Develop integrations between enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, EDI, and middleware.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Sales to translate requirements into automated changes.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and SOX/ITGC controls across pipelines.
