Job summary

Juul Labs is hiring an AI Platform Engineer to own internal LLM platforms end-to-end, including provisioning, security, and cost control. You will build content, drive user adoption across hundreds of users, and ensure reliable operation of MCP and LLM gateways.

You will work with AWS/GCP, choose models by cost and performance, and write core code in Python and TypeScript while maintaining governance and compliance in a fast-paced fintech-adjacent environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/cloud/platform engineering with hands-on LLM systems.
• Experience administering an enterprise SaaS/AI tenant at scale.
• Knowledge of commercial and open-weight LLMs, prompt engineering.
• AWS/GCP architecture incl. IAM, networking, secrets, AI services.

Responsibilities

• Own platforms end-to-end used across the company; define AI runs.
• Administer enterprise tenants: provisioning, groups, roles, security.
• Build content: skills, prompts, projects; drive adoption.
• Monitor usage, spend, and support chargeback models.
• Maintain availability; manage rollouts and triage issues.
• Operate MCP gateways and LLM gateways; integration with internal APIs.
• Architect AI workloads on AWS/GCP; manage security and auditing.
• Write and own code in Python/TypeScript; manage GitHub pipelines.
• Enforce data handling and governance alongside Cybersecurity.
