Job summary

Juvare is seeking a mid-to-senior DevOps engineer to join our team and scale infrastructure with automation and AI tooling. Based in the United States, the role blends infrastructure automation with AI-powered operational workflows, focusing on secure, compliant cloud deployments.

You will automate toil out of infrastructure, security, and compliance while enabling AI-assisted engineering practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure); AWS GovCloud experience a plus.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Solid scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Comfort working in regulated/compliance-heavy environments (FedRAMP, IL5, SOC 2, or similar).
• Genuine curiosity about AI/automation tooling and a track record of adopting new tools to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) across multi-account cloud environments, with cost, security, and compliance focus.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting frequent deployments.
• Develop automation workflows (n8n, Zapier, custom scripts) to reduce manual work.
• Integrate AI coding assistants into engineering workflows and govern AI tooling adoption org-wide.
• Monitor health and security posture using Datadog; create dashboards, alerts, and end-to-end visibility.
• Continuously identify opportunities to reduce toil through scripting, IaC, or AI tooling.
