Job summary

Blue Shield of California's Digital Experience, Design and Content (DEDC) team seeks a Digital UX Strategist, Consultant to define end-to-end experience strategy across complex member, provider, employer, and prospect journeys. The role focuses on AI-enabled, scalable solutions and influencing product strategy to deliver personalized digital experiences at scale.

The position follows a hybrid workplace model, requiring in-office presence two days per week.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years of relevant experience
• Expert in full-stack product design including UX, interaction, visual, and service design
• Experience with AI-informed design, experimentation, or personalization in digital experiences
• Proven ability to influence product strategy across multi-journey digital products
• Experience with AEM, mobile apps, and web platforms like Angular

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end experience strategy across complex member, provider, employer, and prospect journeys
• Translate business and customer needs into cohesive, AI-enabled, scalable solutions
• Collaborate with other designers and strategists in modern product design and continuous discovery practices
• Contribute as an individual contributor and emerging thought leader to drive experience quality and personalization at scale
