Job summary

Seismic is seeking a Customer Stories Manager to own end-to-end case study creation, from identifying compelling customer stories to publishing finished assets.

You will interview customers, build trust-based relationships, and collaborate with advocacy, references, and product marketing to align stories with launches and campaigns. Expect travel 4–6 times yearly and an editorially rigorous, AI-accelerated workflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in case studies, customer marketing, content marketing, or journalism.
• Customer-forward with ability to represent the customer's voice.
• Fluent with AI tools and able to teach others to use them.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with references, advocacy, product marketing, sales, and CS teams.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a record of meeting deadlines.
• Strong project management; able to juggle multiple stories with legal and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel 4-6 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Own the case study pipeline end-to-end: identify strong customer stories, secure participation, conduct interviews, and write and publish finished assets.
• Build genuine, trust-based relationships with customers and lead interviews to hear their perspective.
• Work with Executive Advocacy, References, and Groundbreakers Advocacy Managers to source candidates and align stories with launches and campaigns.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate interview synthesis, drafting, and content variations while preserving editorial voice and accuracy.
• Experiment with new AI workflows to increase output and speed.
• Manage legal/PR approvals to keep the pipeline moving without delays.
• Repurpose case studies into multiple formats (sales one-pagers, web pages, social snippets, video scripts) with design and content teams.
• Travel for site visits, interviews, video shoots, and events including our annual customer conference.
