Job summary

Principle Services LLC in Irving, TX, seeks a Commercial Contracts & Insurance Manager to own end-to-end contracting for MSAs, consulting agreements, work orders, NDAs, and related agreements with utilities and engineering firms. You will balance speed to signature with risk management and coordinate with the relationship owner as needed.

The role includes managing insurance renewals, COIs, and compliance, mapping contractual obligations to operational requirements, and leading AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years owning commercial contract negotiations in engineering, construction, utility, or professional services.
• Experience negotiating indemnification, liability limits, consequential damages, and flow-down obligations.
• Ability to manage multiple active negotiations with minimal supervision.
• AI tools experience to accelerate review and standardize outputs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to build lightweight workflows.
• Experience developing contract playbooks or CLM style workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead review and negotiation of MSAs, SOWs, NDAs with enterprise clients (utilities, engineering firms), subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Draft and redline agreements per contract guidelines; escalate deviations to designated approver per DOA.
• Own contract lifecycle from intake to post-signature administration.
• Maintain insurance compliance and COI management with brokers.
• Design AI-enabled workflows for contract intake, review, negotiation support, and obligation extraction.
• Train Business Development and project leads on contract risk terms.
