Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Contract Management Lead to build and scale an AI-led contracting help desk. You will own the service strategy, workflows, and CLM platform, partnering with Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Security, Privacy, and Finance to deliver timely, consistent, and well-governed outcomes.

You will lead a builder-operator role, designing AI-enabled workflows, templates, and playbooks while ensuring responsible AI use and measurable improvements in cycle time and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and overseeing contracting processes from intake to lifecycle management.
• Ability to own service strategy, operating model, and delivery oversight for a contracting desk.
• Strong commercial contracting background with legal-language fluency and risk awareness.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms and integration with procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for an AI-led contracting help desk.
• Build and improve the AI-enabled contracting framework (drafting, clause recommendations, negotiation guidance).
• Own the CLM platform, workflows, templates, and reporting with integrations to procurement tools.
• Enable sourcing coordinators through training, playbooks, and escalation support.
