Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. in California, MD seeks a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to build relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals. You will execute territory plans, deliver product presentations, and develop a deep understanding of the local healthcare landscape.

The role requires a BA/BS (Life Sciences preferred) and 2+ years of pharmaceutical or B2B sales experience. A strong digital acumen and ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required, Life Sciences preferred.
• Business to business sales experience or internship experience and/or sales degree or 2+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
• Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships and influence prescribing habits.
• Strong digital acumen with an interest in adopting innovative technologies, including AI.
• Team player who can also work independently, highly collaborative and motivated to succeed.
• Strong communication, business analytics and account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales goals in assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory.
• Deliver clinical brand specific presentations of product(s) to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop a complete understanding of the healthcare delivery system within each assigned customer.
• Develop deep product and competitor knowledge and understanding of market trends.
• Collaborate with peers to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company brand strategy and tactics within the geographic area.
• Participation in training and development programs.
• Leverage AI-driven insights to personalize provider interactions.
