Job summary

The Capital Group in Southern California is seeking a Change Activation Manager - Content. You will architect the content system to keep stories, messages, examples coherent across AI, data, and DxP initiatives, serving leaders and content creators.

You will edit, curate, and categorize content, ensure consistency, and build scalable processes with AI, while partnering with DxP and EDO teams to maintain momentum and narrative alignment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional editor with ability to spot inconsistencies, repetition, weak logic, and unclear messaging.
• Strategist who assesses whether a story or message advances the overarching narrative.
• Strong journalistic instincts to identify relevant, credible stories worth telling.
• Build institutional memory and systems so teams don’t rely on memory alone.
• Deep understanding of Capital Group audiences, leaders, and context.
• Help others work smarter by enabling reuse and efficient access to content.
• Continuously improve tools and processes after launch.

Responsibilities

• Own the editorial strategy for AI and data across communications, presentations, stories, executive messaging, QBRs, events, and other channels.
• Maintain a clear view of the whole content ecosystem and audiences’ messaging needs.
• Build and maintain systems that make content reusable and discoverable.
• Run the content library like a product used by leaders and content creators.
• Act as steward of narrative consistency by identifying conflicting messages.
• Own the DxP data/story engine and ensure progress is visible and well told.
• Curate a portfolio of examples and executive narratives for deployment across channels.
• Advise leaders on message selection and audience context.
• Edit and refine content across formats for clarity and alignment.
• Create scalable content operations using AI to handle growing volume without losing quality.
• Set up a simple intake and prioritization process for requests.
• Measure whether content is found, reused, and whether duplicate work declines.
