Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group in Needham, MA is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician to oversee daily operation and maintenance of our AI/HPC infrastructure, ensuring high availability and rapid incident response. You will work across GPU servers, storage, networks, and cabling, supporting NVIDIA B300 clusters and related gear.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, basic Linux admin skills, and hands-on experience with data center hardware.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Basic Linux administration and scripting.
Familiarity with data center hardware and server components.
Experience with GPU clusters or AI/HPC infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain data center infrastructure for high availability.
Install, rack and stack, cabling, and troubleshoot GPU and server hardware including NVIDIA B300.
Monitor health of servers, GPUs, storage, networking devices; perform firmware updates.
Handle hardware replacements, BIOS/BMC upgrades, diagnostics.
Support provisioning, OS installation, cluster expansion, network validation.
Troubleshoot incidents and keep logs and SOPs updated.
Coordinate with engineering and infra teams on deployments.
Participate in 3-shift rotation including nights, weekends, holidays.
