Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an intern on the PSCo Regulatory team to help implement AI and automation tools into daily workflows in a hybrid Denver setting. The role focuses on streamlining processes, research, and developing operational plans with AI support.

Typical responsibilities include building AI agents to automate tasks, track internal systems, and refine documents. Start date is May 31, 2027, with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher (as of Fall 2027).
• Pursuing a degree in Data science, information systems, project management.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week).

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents to automate administrative tasks.
• Develop AI agents or system automation to track and update internal systems.
• Develop AI agents to review, polish, and improve written documents and presentations.
• Update and refine existing agents to improve functionality.
