Job summary

Xcel Energy's Enterprise AI Enablement internship offers hands-on experience applying AI to real business needs. You will support AI adoption programs, training content, and success-story collection while collaborating with Copilot Champions and AI leaders.

This summer role requires you to analyze usage data, help improve AI resources, and develop materials. The position starts May 24, 2027, with potential extension based on performance and business needs, and requires in-person commuting to the

Qualifications

Currently a student or junior or higher in an accredited college or university.
Pursuing a degree related to computer science, software engineering, information technology or data analytics.
Must be able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) and commute in-person as required by our hybrid work policy.

Responsibilities

Assist with AI adoption and employee enablement programs.
Help develop training materials, guides, communications, and learning content.
Support AI workshops, demonstrations, and employee engagement activities.
Collect and document AI success stories and business value outcomes.
Analyze usage and adoption data to identify trends and opportunities.
Support ongoing improvements to AI resources, websites, and knowledge repositories.
