Job summary

Xcel Energy is offering a Summer 2027 internship in Enterprise AI Enablement. The role supports AI adoption programs, employee enablement, and the creation of learning content to help teams leverage AI tools across the company.

You will work with Copilot champions, AI leaders, and business units to identify opportunities, collect success stories, and drive improvements in AI resources and knowledge bases. This role is hybrid with in-person requirements and is ideal for students in relevant

Qualifications

Current student, Junior or higher
Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields
Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commute to the designated work location in-person per hybrid policy

Responsibilities

Assist with AI adoption and employee enablement programs
Help develop training materials, guides, communications, and learning content
Support AI workshops, demonstrations, and employee engagement activities
Collect and document AI success stories and business value outcomes
Analyze usage and adoption data to identify trends and opportunities
Support ongoing improvements to AI resources, websites, and knowledge repositories
