Datasite is seeking an AI Automation Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) to embed with internal business teams and drive measurable improvements. This hybrid role blends consulting, product thinking, and software engineering to define problems with leaders and deliver practical AI-driven solutions.

You will balance process redesign, AI, automation, and integrations while owning engagements end-to-end and ensuring outcomes meet security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software experience, preferably Python and cloud platforms.
• 3+ years delivering production AI, LLM, automation, or workflow solutions.
• Strong consulting and discovery skills with ability to understand business problems first.
• Experience redesigning business processes to improve efficiency, quality, or scalability.
• Systems thinking to connect people, process, data, and technology across end-to-end workflows.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand workflows, pain points, goals, and challenges.
• Lead discovery workshops, map current-state processes, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate opportunities based on business value, technical feasibility, adoption readiness, and ROI.
• Design, build, deploy, and support production-quality AI apps, automations, integrations, and data solutions.
• Own engagements from discovery through implementation, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Define success metrics and measure productivity, quality, cycle time, and cost savings.
