Job summary

Datasite’s Transformation Office seeks an AI Automation Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) to collaborate with internal business teams, defining problems and delivering measurable operational improvements. This hybrid role blends consulting, product thinking, and software engineering to design and deploy AI applications, automations, and data solutions.

You will co-create with business leaders, balancing process redesign with AI/automation to drive value, while meeting security and governance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software, preferably using Python and modern cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience delivering production AI, LLM, automation, or workflow solutions.
• Strong consulting and discovery skills with ability to understand business problems before proposing technical solutions.
• Experience redesigning business processes to improve efficiency, quality, or scalability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand workflows, pain points, goals, and operational challenges.
• Lead discovery workshops, map current-state processes, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate opportunities based on business value, feasibility, adoption readiness, and ROI.
• Design, build, deploy, and support production-quality AI applications, automations, integrations, and data solutions.
• Own engagements from discovery through implementation, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Define success metrics and measure business outcomes such as productivity and cost savings.
