Job summary

Datasite’s Transformation Office seeks an AI Automation Engineer who embeds with internal business teams to deliver measurable operational improvements. This hybrid role blends consulting, product thinking, process redesign, AI, and software engineering.

You will define problems with business leaders, determine the right solution, and own engagements from discovery to adoption while ensuring security and governance standards. Some on-site work is required in NYC/Minneapolis areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software, preferably using Python and modern cloud platforms.
• 3+ experience delivering production AI, LLM, automation, or workflow solutions.
• Strong proficiency in consulting and discovery skills with ability to understand business problems before proposing technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business teams to understand workflows, pain points, goals, and challenges.
• Lead discovery workshops, map current-state processes, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate opportunities based on business value, technical feasibility, adoption readiness, and ROI.
• Design, build, deploy, and support production-quality AI applications, automations, integrations, and data solutions.
• Own engagements from discovery through implementation, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Define success metrics and measure business outcomes including productivity, quality, cycle time, cost savings, risk reduction, and adoption.
• Coach business partners to own and evolve solutions after delivery.
• Develop reusable frameworks, patterns, and best practices that accelerate future transformation initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Deliver solutions that meet Datasite's security, governance, compliance, and privacy standards.
