Job summary

Hines is seeking an AI Embedded Business Automation Engineer to collaborate with business teams across the organization, identifying manual handoffs and bottlenecks, and delivering AI-enabled workflows that scale operations in NYC and beyond.

You will design, prototype, and deploy end-to-end solutions using Python, LLM APIs, and enterprise platforms, while ensuring security, governance, and production-grade reliability in a dynamic corporate IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3+ years delivering AI or Generative AI solutions in a business environment.
• Experience building workflow automations, APIs, integrations, copilots, assistants, or AI-enabled business applications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflows, identify improvements and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
• Co-design AI-enabled process improvements with SMEs and translate challenges into practical workflows.
• Translate requirements into designs, plans, and delivery milestones and build end-to-end solutions.
• Prototype, test, and iterate AI-driven automations using Python, LLM APIs, and agent frameworks.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems to enable end-to-end intelligent workflows.
