Job summary

Bankrate, part of Red Ventures, is rebuilding itself with AI at the center. The AI Transformation Office seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with HR, Marketing, and Commercial teams, delivering AI systems that drive real business outcomes.

You will own problems end to end: architecture, code, deployment, and stakeholder relationships, shipping autonomous customer support agents and AI training pathways that scale across the company.

Qualifications

• 2 to 8 years building and shipping production software.
• AI-native to the core: you work with agents, AI tools, and APIs as a default.
• Problem-solver with a track record of handling messy business problems.
• High agency and urgency: you ship and iterate quickly.
• Comfortable in ambiguity and can bring structure to unfamiliar systems.
• Strong collaborator: translate business problems to technical solutions for non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed and ship AI solutions with business teams end-to-end, owning architecture, code, and deployment.
• Build and integrate new AI capabilities and ensure operational production readiness.
• Move fast, prototype in hours, test with real users, and iterate without ego.
• Operate with agentic tooling, AI APIs, and automation layers to maximize leverage.
• Design agents that are reliable, auditable, and maintain human-in-the-loop as needed.
• Scale learnings across engagements to improve the wider organization.
