Job summary

Idahoan Foods, LLC is partnering with R.D. Offutt Farms and Syngenta to offer an Agronomy Intern program. Students will gain hands-on experience in crop development, pest scouting, soil sampling and project work, with industry experts and university guidance throughout the internship.

The internship emphasizes learning, social responsibility in agriculture, and a final project presentation to leadership. Opportunities for training and growth are highlighted, with a strong focus on applying

Qualifications

Enrolled in an approved agriculture program and maintain acceptable GPA.
Proactive communication with management and transcripts shared quarterly.
Adhere to academic policies and demonstrate willingness to learn.
Agriculture experience is preferred.
Ability to handle equipment maintenance tasks and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist with crop development, scouting for insects/weeds/disease and soil sampling.
Complete an individual agronomy project before internship end and present findings.
Learn from industry experts at R.D. Offutt Farms, Syngenta, and university faculty.
Present project to leadership in a 15-minute session with Q&A.
Maintain a clean work area and communicate solutions with team.
