Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms and Syngenta invite college students pursuing agriculture to join an internship that offers hands-on learning on real projects and solutions. You will explore crop development, scouting, soil and petiole sampling, nutritional value, sustainability, and social responsibility in agriculture while initiating an individual agronomy project.

You will work with industry experts from R.D. Offutt Farms, Syngenta and University professors, gain field experience from seed to processing,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an approved agriculture program.
• Maintain acceptable GPA and attendance in the program.
• Provide transcripts to management after each quarter/semester.
• Valid driver’s license and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with crop development, scouting, soil sampling, and agronomy project.
• Learn from industry experts from R.D. Offutt Farms, Syngenta, and university faculty.
• Present project to leadership (15-minute presentation and Q&A).
• Maintain a clean work area and care for tools/equipment.
