Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms and Syngenta invite college students pursuing agriculture to join a hands-on internship. You will work on real projects, learning about crop development, scouting for pests, soil sampling, and sustainability practices while collaborating with industry experts.

Interns will lead an agronomy project, gain exposure to the full farm-to-processing cycle, and may present findings to leadership. Training and development opportunities are provided within the program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled students pursuing agriculture with good academic standing.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn software tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with crop development, insect, weed and disease scouting, soil sampling, petiole sampling.
• Gain on-the-job experience from industry experts from R.D. Offutt Farms, Syngenta and university faculty.
• Prepare and present a 15-minute project presentation to leadership with Q&A.
