Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms and Syngenta invite college students pursuing agriculture to join a hands-on agronomy internship in Minnesota. You will work on real projects, learn about crop development, scouting, soil sampling, and sustainability, and complete an individual agronomy project by internship end.

You'll gain exposure to the full vertically integrated farm experience, receive training, and have opportunities to present your work to leadership. Compensation is $16–$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an approved agriculture program with maintained GPA
• Provide transcripts to management after each quarter/semester
• Adhere to academic policies and program rules
• Agriculture experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Strong computer and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with crop development, scouting, soil sampling, and project work
• Learn from industry experts and present a 15‑minute project at leadership review
• Participate in safety, policies, and professional conduct expectations
• Maintain tools and equipment, communicate with team and management
• Collaborate with R.D. Offutt Farms, Syngenta, and university staff
