Job summary

Pratt Industries in Swedesboro, NJ seeks a Customer Service & Operations Specialist to bridge customers, sales, and manufacturing operations. You will drive efficiency, improve the customer experience, and lead cost-saving initiatives across agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

You will own the entire order lifecycle, participate in value-added projects, and support a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Five years of distribution or manufacturing experience.
Technical: Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and data management systems.
Communication: Ability to write business reports, present to groups.
Mathematical Skills: Compute rates, ratios, percentages, and costs.
Problem-Solving: Strong reasoning with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order processing, and resolution of complaints.
Accurately process and place customer orders, including complex purchase orders.
Maintain and update daily reports and forward confirmations to customers (Order Acknowledgements, ASN, COAs).
Coordinate with accounting for credit form approvals and assist sales with account needs.
Maintain accurate and organized customer files.
Actively manage inventory levels and oversee the drop trailer program.
Coordinate with warehouse supervision to prevent problems and strengthen cross-department relationships.
