Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Swedesboro, NJ, seeks a Customer Service & Operations Specialist to bridge customers, sales, and manufacturing. You will own the entire order lifecycle and drive efficiency, accuracy, and a superior customer experience in agriculture and manufacturing.

This role goes beyond order entry; you will lead value-added projects, coordinate with accounting, and help optimize logistics, inventory, and reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data systems.
• Ability to write business reports and present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.
• Process orders accurately, including complex purchase orders.
• Maintain daily reports and send confirmations (Order Acknowledgements, ASN, COAs).
• Coordinate with accounting for credit approvals and assist sales with account needs.
• Maintain organized customer files.
• Actively manage inventory levels and oversee the drop trailer program.
• Coordinate with warehouse to prevent problems and improve cross-department relations.
