Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Customer Service & Operations Specialist to bridge customers, sales, and manufacturing in the agriculture and packaging sector. You will manage the full order lifecycle, drive customer satisfaction, and lead efficiency improvements.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and strategic cost-saving initiatives. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in distribution/manufacturing, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (essential).
• Five years of proven experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel) and modern data management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interpret complex operating manuals or reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and complaint resolution.
• Process and place customer orders accurately and timely, including complex PO handling.
• Maintain daily reports and forward confirmations (Order Acknowledgements, ASN, COAs) to customers.
• Coordinate with accounting for credit form approvals and assist sales with account needs.
• Maintain organized customer files and support inventory and logistics coordination.
