Job summary

Bane-Welker Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service operation across the dealership. The role requires organizing, training, and supervising staff to meet service goals while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

The manager will oversee shop workflow, scheduling, safety, and the execution of service strategies, with a focus on profitability and cross-department collaboration. Strong mechanical knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a customer-focused and service mindset.
• Strong organizational ability and scheduling discipline.
• Proficient knowledge of repair processes, materials, tools, and techniques for agricultural equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership, tact, and ability to assign and guide personnel safely.
• Proficient in Outlook/Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Profits: achieve service sales volume, productivity and profitability targets.
• Ensure service department processes repair orders efficiently (retail, warranty, unit prep).
• Develop and monitor departmental objectives in line with company policies and budgets.
• Schedule service work to optimize flow and meet objectives.
• Lead SIP program implementation with other departments.
• Manage service assets including trucks, tools and equipment.
• Attract, develop and retain a capable service team aligned with company values.
