Job summary

North Risk Partners in Hastings, Minnesota, seeks a Farms Account Manager to support a portfolio of commercial and personal agricultural accounts. You will be the go-to contact for clients while backing the sales team.

This role requires ag insurance knowledge, strong client relationships, proactive service, and attention to detail to provide excellent service to a community-focused client base.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ag insurance or related field.
• Active property & casualty license.
• Demonstrated success in customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for farms/agribusiness client book.
• Manage day-to-day service of accounts and ensure timely transactions.
• Review coverage needs and policy effectiveness.
• Assist clients with claims processing and billing questions.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product comparisons.
• Maintain client files in the agency management system.
• Schedule and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Develop relationships with partner insurance carriers.
• Respond to calls and emails the same business day.
