Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering bold Southern hospitality. The AGM will lead shifts, ensure fast service, and uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards across the front and back of house.

The role emphasizes people leadership, training, and performance coaching, with responsibilities spanning labor and cost control, guest issue resolution, and adherence to brand

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus)
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence-ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
