Job summary

CAVA Cumberland in Smyrna, GA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold our service standards. You’ll partner with the General Manager to plan schedules, forecast labor and manage inventory while developing Team Members through coaching and feedback.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a supervisory role, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven record of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and analyzing performance metrics.
