Job summary

CAVA in Concord, NC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations in line with our mission and values. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to drive store plans, manage schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while developing hourly Team Members.

The role requires 1–2 years supervisory experience in hospitality, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Compensation starts at $20 per hour with benefits and opportunities to grow as we expand.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory/manager role within restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights and weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Uphold CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and coach Team Members with feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience with high service standards.
• Lead by example in customer service.
